Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Datalytics ("Datalytics", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit datalyticsafrica.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us. Datalytics is a subsidiary of Saracen Marketing Group. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways.

Information you provide directly: if you use the contact form on this Site, the details you enter (name, work email, company, the service you are interested in, and your message) are sent to us by email so we can respond to your enquiry. Delivery is handled by our email provider, Mailgun, which processes it only to deliver that message to us.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. This is used only to operate and secure the Site, not to build a profile of you.

Cookies

This Site does not currently use cookies for advertising or analytics tracking. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy to describe what is used and why.

How we use information

We use the information described above to respond to enquiries you send us, to operate, maintain, and secure the Site, and to understand which of our services and products visitors are interested in, so we can improve how we present them.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We may share information with Saracen Marketing Group, our parent company, where relevant to delivering a service you have engaged us for, with service providers who help us run the Site (for example, our content management and hosting providers, who are only permitted to use it to provide that service), or with authorities where required by law.

Our products and third-party sites

Some of our products, including OOHna, AdOps, and LiveFTA, are hosted on their own separate domains and platforms. Each has its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review separately. Our blog and site content are managed through a third-party content platform, which stores the content you read but does not collect personal information about visitors on our behalf.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information related to this Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at start@datalytics.com.

Children's privacy

This Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
