Software Development
Most full-stack products are stitched together from a frontend framework, a separate API, and a database that all have to agree with each other. We build ours as one system, in Elixir and Phoenix LiveView, so there is less to break and less to maintain.
What is full-stack software development, and why Elixir?
We design and build full-stack systems in Elixir, running on Phoenix LiveView. Elixir runs on the BEAM, the same virtual machine built for telecom networks that cannot afford to go down, so the systems we build are designed from the ground up to stay online and recover from failure on their own. Phoenix LiveView lets us build rich, real-time interfaces without maintaining a separate frontend framework and a separate API, so a dashboard that updates live, a tool that tracks changes as they happen, or a platform with many concurrent users is a natural fit for this stack, not a stretch.
Most software projects split into a frontend team, a backend team, and an API that has to keep them in sync. Every extra layer is another place a system can break, another handoff that slows a team down, and another skill set you have to hire for.
- Ship real-time features, live dashboards, notifications, tracking, without building a separate API for them
- Run a system built to stay online, with failures isolated instead of taking the whole platform down
- Maintain one codebase instead of a frontend, a backend, and the glue between them
- Scale to more concurrent users without re-architecting the system to handle them
What you get
Full-stack web & mobile apps
Complete applications built end to end, from database to interface, in a single coherent stack.
API & systems integration
Where your business already relies on other tools, we connect them into the system rather than asking you to abandon them.
Cloud architecture & DevOps
We design the infrastructure your application runs on, so it holds up under real usage, not just in a demo.
Ongoing maintenance & support
Software is a product, not a one-time delivery. We stay on to maintain, fix, and extend it as your needs change.
How we work
- 01
Define the system
We start with what the software needs to do and who needs to use it, before a single line of code is written.
- 02
Build in Elixir and Phoenix
We build the full stack as one system, with real-time features included from the start rather than added on later.
- 03
Test under real conditions
We test for the load and failure conditions the system will actually face, not just the happy path.
- 04
Ship and support
After launch we stay on to maintain the system and extend it as your business changes.
